Why I built it

ShiftDesk isn’t a client project. I built it for the same people I build websites for: small local businesses that need to know who’s working, who’s off, and where the clashes are — without a spreadsheet holding the week together.

What it does

• Plans rotas so the week holds together across a small team
• Tracks leave so absences don’t collide with the shift plan
• Groups work by project or site, the way local operators actually think about a job
• Marketing site, pricing, trial and login — written for UK operators, hosted in the UK/EU
• Custom domain on shiftdesk.co.uk, with GDPR-aligned copy and a cookie notice

Result

ShiftDesk is live software you can try, not a brochure with a login button glued on. I’m not publishing user counts. It’s on this site because it shows I can design, build and ship a full web product — the same person who writes a trade homepage can also take a brief into real software.
